The PHILOSOPHY of RED CLOUD

Given as the Address by Michael Ayers at Divine Service at Crawley Spiritualist Church at Gossops Green in West Sussex on Sunday, 5th June 2016

“Take heed of an easy life for nothing that is worthwhile comes easily.  We all have to work for the gifts of our Creator.

“In His Creation, the Lord God was not a banker.  He did not create with credit cards, so that you can have today and pay tomorrow.  His gifts are given freely, when you have learned and passed your spiritual exams for Him.

“He is, despite what the Jews say about their Old Testament God, a loving God, who wants us all to do well.  So often we are tempted to take an easy way and we don’t listen to our conscience or our guide, but we have that inner feeling within ourselves, that little rumble that sometimes says. “I’m not sure that this is right.”

“But sometimes we do it anyway and then we find, when we look back, we see why we feel that way and we learn to trust in the messages that come from Spirit, which is all around us and beyond, from every part of this massive Universe that is still evolving and is still under the control of the Great Creator.

“It is His wisdom that makes the Universe continue to expand and hold places that we could not even dream of, but one day, if we do well, we may be offered the opportunity of going for a life in a place far beyond this one.

“Not every planet is a little round ball.  I was once taken to one that was both square and flat and I was blessed by meeting somebody there, who I had loved for some twenty years and we spent time walking on a beach together.

“This beloved lady and I had been married.  She contracted breast cancer and died at the age of fifty-two, but it was she who first came to me fifteen hours after she had died.

“She spoke to me and there was never any doubt at all that it was her voice.  A thought comes in and you hear it as if you were saying it yourself, but in her case it had a voice print.

Musicians could understand this better than I could explain it, but a phrase or a sentence has a rhythm and people will say it in a particular way.  There are times when you know that it is that person.

“Even though as we cruelly say sometimes, “They are dead and buried” they are alive in Spirit.  They can choose to come close to us and we need to be aware that all God’s creations live on.

“It is only this physical body that we are loaned for a lifetime and gradually it wears out and we are called out of it.  We are called if you like to park the old car and get out and get into another one, which in our case will be a spirit body, which is already prepared for us and, when our time comes, we will be found and greeted in our spirit body.

“Our spirit body is see-through!  You don’t have to worry about your personal bits and pieces.  I’m not talking about them.  It is your aura that contains all your deeds – good and bad that you have done.

If you remember what Jesus said, “By your fruits you shall be known” and all the good deeds that you have done shine through in your aura.  People can just look in your direction and they will know what you have done.

“So do lots of good things and have lots of your fruits.  You don’t want to hear somebody whispering in the background, “Is that all you managed to do?”

“There are many opportunities that we all have.  We should be glad to seize them and help each other and live in peace and harmony.

“God bless you all.”
