Given as the Address by Michael Ayers at Divine Service at Crawley Spiritualist Church at Gossops Green in West Sussex on Sunday, 5^th July 2015

“Give to each other.  Hold back nothing that you can spare.  It is no use having a garage or an attic full of things that you haven’t used in years, while many millions of people are without, in camps and desolation around the world.

“Some are even getting on boats, which are unworthy of going on the sea to try and escape from the misery, poverty and cruelty in which they find themselves.

“What you may have in your attic may help these people.  In Syria and in Iraq during the winter they are in little tents with snow and ice, precious little electricity, precious little food and water and often no education for their young ones.

“There are organisations, who are supposed to be helping and many are doing their best, but in order to do enough a lot more has to be done.

“Organisations like the United Nations, who sit on their hands in New York and discuss these things and do nothing.  America supposedly the richest country in the world, although I believe that is being challenged, still controls politically great swathes of the world.

“They pay for the United Nations and it is not what they do, it is what they are told to do, what they are paid to do and what they are not allowed to do for political reasons even though hundreds of thousands of people are suffering.

“As you may know they even introduced disease to Haiti and they sit on their hands and they say, “Oh, it is not our fault.  You can’t blame it on us – talk to our lawyers.”  How can the poor and ill in Haiti afford lawyers to get the UN to put right the mistakes that they made?

“This is not a party political broadcast.  It is a message from the Spirit Realms to remind you that the world is not perfect and for a long time to come never will be.

“But we each have a responsibility.  You were given life by our great Creator and we are continually in his love and we have a message to love our neighbours and to make the world a better place because we came.

“To do that we need to do, look into our hearts, look into our minds and really be sure that we haven’t walked by on the other side.  It is so easy in this modern world because everybody is so busy.

“I have the children to pick up from the party.  I must take them here and there and the shopping has to be done.  There is so much to do.  So we have to make a space.

“We have to feel charity in our hearts and we have to know that we want to do something, even if it is only to clean out the attic and give some things to the Red Cross to try and help others.

“These people you will never meet, but, heaven forbid, if we come on hard times and we’ve done nothing, how can we expect help?

“We all want it.  We are in a privileged country, which has lots of ways of keeping us going.  Those countries don’t have it.

“So I ask you, look into your hearts.  See the words and the warnings and do your best to love your neighbour and to make this world a better place.

“It is indeed good to be here and it is indeed good of you to come.  Without your presence it would be a very lonely evening for ‘Us’ having travelled so far through the eons of time where we normally reside.

“The Spirit World in some ways is very close to you and in others it is very far away.  It is the difference between the physical and the spiritual.  The physical is fine – you can touch it, you can see it – you know what is there.  You know when are comfortable.  You know when the seat is uncomfortable.  That’s the physical.

“In Spirit everything, once you have addressed your mistakes and errors and moved into what some people call the Summerland, the land of sunshine that comes directly from the Creator, where is no time, no darkness, no negativity and everything is as perfect as you could possibly want it, because where you find yourself is what you have earned on this earth plane.

“If you have looked after others, you have helped those that are homeless, those who are bereaved and those that are ill.  So many people have burdens to carry.  If you have helped them you will have earned yourself a more lovely and more generous place to go to in the Kingdom of God.

“We send out in the Spirit World from our own services that we hold, like this one, where we come together and we pray not to make amends, but to give our thanks to our Creator for the joy that he has given to us in creation and love and harmony, as we all exist as one in peace and, if you think back to the words that you all sang a few moments ago, “There is no Heaven.  There is no Earth.  There is no Hell.”

“It is all one perfect place where every soul comes together without conflict, but in love, harmony and peace and all they want out of life is to make others happy and to do good.

“Then you perhaps you turn the other side of the coin, which perhaps for this example you may think is this earth plane and do you find the love and the healing and the generosity of Spirit?

“The perfection that our Creator gave to all of us, when we were first made.  Is everybody on this planet doing their bit to make Heaven on Earth?

“Sadly I think not, but there are many who try and who struggle.  Doctors, who give up their time to go and work regardless of frontiers and borders, regardless of their patients being black or yellow or rich or poor, but they just need someone to do something for them and they are happy to do it.

“They set a wonderful example and there are many and I am sure sitting here there are unsung heroes amongst you that you may not recognise, because, although you may meet up, you don’t always know what good other people get up to as well.

“Don’t be afraid to do your bit.  Don’t be afraid to help.  Don’t worry what other people might say.  “Oh, she is a stupid woman.  Did you see her help that poor creature in the wheelchair?”

“That is the wrong attitude.

“Well done!  Let somebody come and help as well.  Maybe that person, next time she sees someone in trouble in a wheelchair or not, should step off the kerb and help them.

“We all need help.  We all need love.  We do not need fear and hatred and greed and corruption.  That needs to be exposed and extinguished.  We can’t all do that, but we can send out our thoughts and our prayers.

“We can in our own little way when we see an opportunity to do something good, to do it.  Not to walk by thinking, “I wonder if I should have done something about that?”  

“No, you should have done it and when you have and you go home and you think, “I’m glad I did that.”  It makes you feel good, because you know that you listened to your conscience.

“It is after all the words of your Creator trying to guide you into a better way of life for yourself and for your fellow beings.”

“Don’t forget.  It’s been said to you now.  It is so easy to walk away and forget what went on here this evening.  May you all go home with something special that you’ve learnt from the Spirit, who love you all so well.

“It is not all Doom and Gloom, although most of it is.  There are pockets around the world, where we in the Spirit Realms look down at the darkness of this globe and see little pinpricks of light, where people come together in love and harmony and peace and this is one such centre that we come to.

“You may not see us, but if you could you would know that there is no wallpaper, but spirits aligning the walls.  There is a lot of love in this room and it generates out into a dark murky world, where so many people are living and behaving in the wrong way, because they can and they think that they can get away with it, but you know they can’t.

“We can’t always see the results of Spiritual Law.  You might think that it would be a better law if you could see the cause and effect actually happening, so that when people behaved badly they got slapped down, but our Creator made Spiritual Law so that if you commit an error or a mistake, you or anyone else have a chance to atone for it, to put it right.

“Sometimes we become judgemental and we look around at black spirits walking the earth that we see – one causing the bloodshed in Syria, the Austrian of the Second World War and many others and we say to God, “Why do you allow this to happen, so many people are suffering, because of these bad influences?”

“I am not God.  I am not privileged to be on the Higher Levels, but I can say that his wisdom is infinite and he understands that it is not just one person that creates all this sadness.

“Others come around and flock around and enjoy the tyranny, the bloodshed and the misery.  The whole castle has to be brought to book and each individual person has to have that opportunity to make amends for the atrocities that they do.

“There are many out there in the world today – the young woman in Iran was hanged, because somebody tried to rape her.  It was not her fault.  It is the appalling way that some people put their own law into effect as opposed to the Law of God.

“Where you mix politics and a belief system, there is always going to be a conflict, because ultimately these people are after power – power over other people.  Power over their fellow man and, looking around the world as I am sure you do at times, you see nations, countries, institutions that are there solely to bring power over others.

“Some churches for example have very rich foundations in the headquarters and the money comes from the poor on another continent, where the children don’t have enough to eat.  They don’t have shoes on their feet and the women are expected to breed like rabbits to produce more for that church.

“There is an awful lot around the world that needs thinking about and putting your own thoughts, not only within your own mind, but to put them out to the Universe, to the Higher Intelligence, the Angels, whoever you think are there to help, because there is an enormous amount of help beyond this little globe.

“It is only a little globe that God gave to humanity to live and to learn about the good things – about love and friendship, harmony and peace and somewhere along the line, because of free will, one or two people thought, “I’d like a bit of that and I can take it” and they do.

“It has expanded to become a curse on the population of this world.  Here in Europe after the Second World War, we all thought it was going to be a peaceful end of harmony and love.

“We now see not wars, but financial ruin as the Banks tumble, because of their greed and corruption and their self-interest over the years. 

          “It is not all about letting blood.  It is about taking away from the people what is rightly theirs and we must all take time and when we believe that something is not right we must stand up and try and get it put right.

          “Too many of us sleepwalk through life.  We don’t want to cause a stir.  We don’t want any stress – there is enough agro about!  Unless we stand up and we talk to others and things are put right, there won’t be much of a planet for our grandchildren and their children.

          “There won’t be a future and that lack will be put down to us.  God bless you all.”

“It is not all bad news although humanity is doing its best to tear apart all good and godly things that he has been given.

“It is reminiscence of a spoiled child having a tantrum and throwing all its toys out of its pram.  This time there appears to be nobody to pick them up and give them back.

“Only the Almighty, who made them and gave them to Mankind for his use and benefit, can pick them up and return them, but he is unlikely to do so while this unruly child is still screaming and shouting abuse and denying his Creator what is due to him.

“The simple law of reaping what you sow is so true for all levels of society here on Earth and also in the Heavens.  It is a law of common sense and true understanding of the ways that civilised people conduct themselves.

“If you transgress you will never get away with it.  The transgressors think that they can, but sooner or later they are found out and brought to book in this world or the next.

“Each and every person makes mistakes.  They err because they are human, but these other people do what they do knowing it is wrong and so they deliberately commit these follies, which is unforgiveable.

“In order to make amends they have to go through the pain of understanding what they have done.  They have to feel themselves what their victims have felt and had to live with.

“Only then can they start out on a road of redemption by paying back to humanity through goodness and love what is due to the people themselves.

“This world is not only full of these irresponsible people, although you may sometimes wonder.  Here in this very congregation there are holy and kind people, who do good deeds and send out their prayers and thoughts to the Almighty and we, in Spirit, are charged with doing what we can at the right time to address them.

“It is not always appropriate at the time of receiving the request to enact the answer, because all aspects of the Greater Good must be taken into account and Spiritual Law has to be obeyed.

“This does not mean that the power of prayer is impotent.  On the contrary the power of your thoughts is indeed mighty and miracles have been wrought by them, so just because you don’t appear to get an instant answer doesn’t mean that you have failed to attract our attention.

“When working with the Power of the Spirit, it is important that the justifications for its use are correct and in place.  No innocent will suffer because decisions have taken place that adversely affects another.  The balance of Spiritual Law, unlike Mankind’s, is always just and even handed.

“It is important to ‘Us’ that all those who recognise ‘Our’ existence recognise the Greater Intelligence, that some call God.  That is the Creator of all things and so many people today have turned away and scorned its existence believing that science is all powerful and never needs a helping hand.

“If it was only science and technology that ruled, it would be a cold and unloving world indeed.  Unconditional love cannot be made by science in a laboratory and compassion cannot flow from a test tube.

“This world has been brutalised by Mankind himself and through his greed and selfishness has continued to bring destruction from the very moment that Cain killed Abel and the life blood of a creature that was divinely created flowed back into the earth.

“‘We’, in this Spirit World where I come from and you will in due time will follow, look down with despair at the inhuman acts of the natives, who without control perpetrates abuse on his fellow man.

“All of you have a destiny and need to accomplish it before you pass from this earth plane and return back to your roots, suitably successful in all that you hopefully accomplished.

“Those who turn away from their Creator will have to learn new aspects of reality when they pass, so no one will get an easy passage if they have done wrong.

“Look to yourselves to understand why you came and what you need to do to help quell this riot of destruction by your fellow man.  You are not alone, as there are many of like mind, but too many hide their beliefs and do nothing.

“It is now time to act and you will be supported from the Spirit and you will be amazed just how powerful you can be when we all work together for justice and harmony by living in the right way and quelling the wrongs that are becoming far too apparent to us all.

“Remember to stand up for what you believe in and work with the goodness and the righteousness that is within you and the Spirit will support and guide you and you will succeed.

“Peace and love is coming to this earth.  It has too, because if it doesn’t, humanity will be no more.  Man is destroying all that God has put on this globe – the flora, the fauna and himself.

“If Man continues to destroy himself, the world will continue and will come back into balance and there will be peace and love and harmony without him.

“Our Creator has decreed that this must not happen, but humanity has got to learn from his mistakes and to put them right.

“In little ways within our own families, in greater ways within our nations and for us all to share the bounty that is upon this earth plane, which is being misused as corruption and greed, around so much of the world, are destroying not only countries, where the people are suffering, but also whole continents.

“The whole of South America is in unrest, because of the jackboot behaviour of those who are supposed to be governing the people.

“Drug barons are making a great living by selling misery to those with weak minds, who think that a quick fix will solve all their problems.

“It never does and drugs kill and bring misery to so many families when one of their members is hooked on these dreadful things.  They need help and they need help early.

“Otherwise they will have to go down to the depths, where there is no help and pull themselves back up from the darkness, as some have already done.

“In the Middle East, war continues as great nations, who ought to know no better, bang their drums and sell their weapons of destruction.  No nation can really feel free, but they are not doing this.

“The Americans have their empire of countries around the world, where they pump money in and get people to do their bidding.  The Russians have just taken over an innocent country, which was theirs, but came away and there is danger of complete destruction in that area again.

“Until we all stand up for what we believe in, for what you believe in and the time comes for you to do it, then we are all lost.

“Many of you have children and you watch them grow up and you lavish your love on them and you hope to educate them and show them what is the difference between good and wrong and all the time we are aware that just a small distance away there are horrors, which you hope they will never meet.

“You can’t guard them and keep them out of trouble.  They have to learn for themselves, but we hope that they will come to their senses and communicate within the family when things happen that shouldn’t.

“The biggest thing that has gone wrong on this earth plane is the fact that religions around the world have lost their direction and are involved in either politics or in their own collection of wealth, very often abusing the Laws that God gave us.

“God does exist.  He’s not an old man on a throne sending you down to Hell, as some people like to tell us.  God is a Great Intelligence, way above anything that we could possibly understand and he created this Universe billions of years ago by creating an explosion that changed matter and grew slowly into something the size of a marble, we are told, and is still growing – this vast Universe with all its beauties, its life, its love and its people.

“Why do people think that they can manage without the help of that Greater Intelligence, the Spirit World, the Guides and where our love ones go into the Spirit Worlds and sometimes they come and talk to us?

“Beyond them is a huge, vast Universe of planets, of life, of people, of love and joy and happiness – can’t believe that that doesn’t exist.  If you believe that that doesn’t exist, then what have you to live for?

“What have your children to live for?  You must thank God for the miracles he gives us every day of our lives and do our best to help and look after each other, so that we all know if we are doing our bit for our fellow man, woman and child – not all of whom are as blessed as we are.

 Given as the Address by Michael Ayers at Divine Service at Tonbridge Spiritual Centre at Hadlow in Kent on Sunday, 1^st December 2013

 

“It has been a very long journey – a journey that is not measured in miles or in minutes, but in progress and your perception as a light person, by the Spirit and the Creator until you turn back to face that Great Intelligence and to show him what you have done.

“Are you ready?

 “Jesus made a long journey, inside the womb of his mother and his father, to get to Bethlehem to find that all the doors were closed and his mother had to give birth to him in a lowly stable. 

“The greatest gift that the Creator could send to each and every one of us was born amid the straw and the animals and the flickering candles.  Is this what you remember when you celebrate Christmas or is it the crackers and the bangles and the presents under the tree? 

“We have all got our priorities.  We have all got our lives to lead.  We are all on a very special journey of our own and we shall all take many wrong turns and we will find that we all come back to similar circumstances. 

“There are people we know who made the wrong relationship and then you find that they have found happiness again and a few years later they are back in the same place again with the same type – whatever that type is. 

“I am not condemning them.  They may be very happy with that type, but we all have to move on.  We all have to take a better step forward than the last one.  If we are not bothered about that then we are not going to make any progress. 

“We have all got problems.  We have all got things that we have to solve.  It is no good just sitting back saying, “They don’t exist.  I’ll be all right!” 

“Look around the world, how many people are all right? 

“Jenny mentioned the children, children in Syria.  Children in our own country who are abused by adults and now we are told by other children. 

“Are people really aware?  Do the Governments and the institutions actually make progress in making this a better world?  Because if they don’t then there is no point in us living our lives down here and we might just as well give up and have a bloody good party and fully crash out.

 “We were made to help each other and if all we can think about is ourselves, then we are not going to find a welcome when we pass into the next dimension. 

“Instead of being in the light and the happiness, we hope with our friends and family, we are going to be in the greyness and the darkness, which we have chosen for ourselves by our attitudes down here. 

“Since our Chairlady mentioned Christmas, what is the most important thing about Christmas? 

“Isn’t it to look after people, who haven’t been so blessed as we are and to try and make the Winter Festival easier for them? 

“They won’t have a table laden with food and presents.  The only people who are gaining are Tesco’s and other supermarkets, because most of it gets thrown away. 

“Are people in your house too busy drinking?  Going to the pub and not getting back on time?  Are they thinking only about each other? 

“Perhaps I am being too negative.  Those things don’t happen in my house, because Jenny and I are blessed with each other and because we have unconditional love and everything we do is for each other and those that we can help. 

“We are blessed to have a destiny to fulfil, but every single person on this earth was given a destiny when they came.  Are they fulfilling it, because if they are, I don’t understand why they came? Surely it wasn’t to kill and maim and brutalise innocent people. 

“So have a good Christmas, but let us share those thoughts with all those who are not so fortunate as we are and to give all that we can with thoughts and prayers throughout the universe to all those around the world, who haven’t got a comfortable settee to place their bottoms on.

Given as the Address by Michael Ayers at Divine Service at Tonbridge Spiritual Centre at Hadlow in Kent on Sunday, 1^st September 2013

“Love is the currency of our Creator.  We were all made in love with love.  We were given life in love with love and we are here on this earth plane, because we chose to come away from that land that many people call ‘Heaven’, but we call it the Spirit World, call it what you will, it’s the next dimension that we go back to and the currency there is love.

“This world is attacking us all the time with negativity and all the emotions, which can only be healed with love.

“If you look at the Middle East, there is no love.  You have people who hate each other, who will do anything they can to hurt and maim and kill each other.

“Many come from the same religious beliefs and there are extremists in those beliefs, as there are in all religions, because people take the extremes too far and forget the fundamental roots are made in love.

“Some two thousand years ago, a man came down to this earth plane to walk the land of Galilee and to preach love and peace and to show the way that was in our hearts we can make heaven ourselves on earth.

“If we live in love and if we believe, if we really believe, that there is more to being down here than the cold earth or the hot fire when we go - this body serves us well.  Your car, I hope, serves you well, but you don’t intend keeping that for an eternity.  It gets tired and it gets worn out.

“What we have to do is to live in love and to remember that that is the cure of all things which we don’t like – fear, hate, all emotions that we don’t like, are negative and anti-love.

“Our job here is to unconditionally love all those around us, whatever they do and, wherever we can, to be peace makers.  They are in short supply at the moment.  There seem to be more people who want to go to war than who want to make peace.

“Think of the words that have brought us to this point in the service, about Jesus and peace and raising it up, because we are human and we were given free will, which means that we can choose, between right and wrong, between good and evil, whether we will help that old lady who has just fallen down or we are too busy and must rush on.

“We have a choice and when we make the wrong choice we tend to wish that there was somebody who could carry us and to guide us and to make sure that we make the right choice.

“We all know many people who rush through their lives in fear and uncertainty, who don’t know what is round the corner and they dread what it might be and we all know, I hope, many people who have faith that there is a Higher Power.

“That people like Jesus, who came down to talk to us and to show us the way and many prophets came.  He was perhaps the greatest, but they all came down to put us back on track and that is what we, as individuals, always need.

“A guiding hand, a direction, an inspiration to see what we didn’t see before – the gateway.  The times when you stop and say, “Okay, I’m in your hands.”

“We have all got guides, who are all angels.  There is Jesus.  There is a whole host of heaven out there willing to help us and show us what to do, but we have to ask and we have to believe that they will be there and give us the right advice.

“We are brought up as children, aren’t we?  “Do you believe in fairies?”  Do you believe in goodness?  Do you believe in heaven?  Do you believe in Jesus?  Do you believe that we were created or was there just a big bang and this mess just suddenly fell out of the sky?

“If there is no Higher Intelligence we are all in a great deal of trouble and it’s all of our own making, because you can’t blame anybody else.  Mankind has brought us to this dreadful instability.

“It’s centred now on the Middle East, where all the countries of the world could be drawn in and annihilate this glorious globe and all it stands for.

“We are told that won’t happen, so don’t worry yet, but Mankind is going to be taught a big lesson.  There are things already happening around the world; things that people aren’t taking notice off.

“The floods in Russia and China and throughout the Far East, fires ravaging western America, snow in the South American deserts.  This climate change is happening and nobody is doing anything about it.

“Think about it.  Send out your thoughts.  Hope people will come to their senses before it’s too late, because we live in a land, a spiritual land, of love.

“We are only down here for a short time, so let us do the very best that we can.  Let us love everybody.  Help to stop the hatred.  Help to stop the differences and be more tolerant and whenever we can, let us try and be the peacemaker, because it all helps.
